The Japanese police arrested two activists of Greenpeace revealed because smuggled whale meat. The two activists, Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki, accused of stealing a box containing whale meat (but shipping note said the contents were cardboard), which had surrendered to the authorities as evidence of smuggling.

The prosecutor of the Tokyo had begun research into the scandal of clandestine meat, but so far the only arrests are the two activists of Greenpeace!

Η ιαπωνική αστυνομία συνέλαβε δύο ακτιβιστές της Greenpeace επειδή αποκάλυψαν λαθραία διακίνηση κρέατος φάλαινας, σκάνδαλο που φωτογραφίζει το πρόγραμμα φαλαινοθηρίας. Οι δύο ακτιβιστές, ο Junichi Sato και ο Toru Suzuki, κατηγορούνται για την κλοπή ενός κιβωτίου που περιείχε κρέας φάλαινας (αλλά στο δελτίο αποστολής το περιεχόμενο ήταν χαρτόνι) και το οποίο είχαν παραδώσει στις αρχές σαν αποδεικτικό στοιχείο της λαθραίας διακίνησης.

Ο εισαγγελέας του Τόκιο είχε ξεκινήσει την έρευνα για το σκάνδαλο του λαθραίου κρέατος, αλλά μέχρι τώρα οι μόνες συλλήψεις είναι οι δύο των ακτιβιστών της Greenpeace!

1. Change a light bulb to compact fluorescent

Save money and energy!

2. Drive less

Use mass transit or carpools. Walk or bike for short trips.

3. Recycle more

Buy more recycled products.

4. Check your tires

Correct air pressure saves you gas.

5. Save water

Use less hot water, wash in cold and install in low flow showerheads.

6. Be a minimalist

Avoid excess packaging (cut your garbage by 10% and save 1,200 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year).

7. Adjust your thermostat

Not too hot, not too cold. 76 degrees in the summer. 68 degrees in the winter.

8. Plant a tree

Over it’s life a tree absorbs 1 ton of carbon dioxide.

9. Turn it off

Shutting off electronic devices when not in use saves 1,000’s of lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.

10. Spread the word ! Set an example !

Encourage your friends and family to take steps towards a greener planet too!

1. Αλλάξτε τους λαμπτήρες πυρακτώσεως με λαμτήρες φθοριασμού

Εξοικονομίστε χρήματα και ενέργεια !

2. Οδηγήστε λιγότερο

Χρησιμοποιήστε τα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς. Για κοντινές αποστάσεις περπατήστε ή χρησιμοποιήστε το ποδήλατο

3. Ανακυκλώστε περισσότερο

Αγοράστε περισσότερα ανακυκλωμένα ( και ανακυκλώσιμα ) προϊόντα

4. Ελέγξτε τα λάστιχά σας

Αν έχετε σωστή πίεση γλιτώνετε καύσιμο.

5. Εξοικονομίστε νερό

Χρησιμοποιήστε λιγότερο ζεστό νερό. Πληθείτε με κρύο και εγκαταστήστε ακουστικά μπάνιου χαμηλής ροής

6. Γίνετε μινιμαλιστές

Αποφεύγετε την υπερβολική συσκευασία ( μειώστε τα σκουπίδια σας 10% και γλυτώστε 545,45 κιλά διοξειδίου του άνθρακα )

7. Aναπροσαρμόστε το θερμοστάτη σας

Ούτε πολύ ζεστό, ούτε πολυ κρύο. 24 βαθμούς το καλοκαίρι και 20 το καλοκαίρι

8. Φυτέψτε ένα δένδρο

Σε όλη του τη ζωή ένα δέντρο απορροφά το 1 τόνο διοξειδίου του άνθρακα

9. Απενεργοποιήστε το

Οι απενεργοποιημένες συσκευές ( οχι σε κατάσταση stand-by ) εξοικονομεί 454,55 κιλά διοξειδίου του ανθρακα κάθε χρονο

10. Διαδώστε το ! Γίνετε παράδειγμα !
